Professional Compression Therapy & Orthopedic Bracing

A prescription is not required to purchase any of our compression stockings, braces, or joint support products directly from our clinics. Anyone is welcome to book an appointment or walk in and be fitted. However, please note that if you intend to claim these medical devices through private insurance, most insurance providers in Ontario require a physician's prescription (from an MD or Nurse Practitioner) to qualify for direct billing or benefit reimbursement. You can always purchase without a prescription if you do not plan to submit a claim.

We provide direct billing and support for our designated Hassle-Free insurance and benefit partners, which include Green Shield Canada, Blue Cross, WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board), ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program), Ontario Works (OW), Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Claims, and NIHB / Indian Affairs (Non-Insured Health Benefits). Our administrative team handles the claim submission on your behalf during your appointment to eliminate or minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.

Off-the-shelf knee braces are generic sizes designed for mild joint support or temporary compression. In contrast, custom knee braces are precisely measured manually by our highly trained orthopedic specialists to match your leg's exact contours. We then order the specific brace that is custom-catered to your unique needs. We are highly respectful of each client's individual comfort and preferences, using meticulous clinical measurements to recommend and order high-performance medical products that ensure maximum joint stabilization (for ACL, MCL, LCL, PCL, and meniscus issues) or osteoarthritis offloading, offering superior support, protection, and all-day comfort.

A professional anatomical fitting for all of our products—including medical compression stockings, orthopedic bracing, and custom braces—is highly efficient and takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. During this time, our trained clinical specialists take meticulous manual anatomical measurements of your leg, ankle, or joint. This streamlined, professional process ensures your custom-ordered medical devices function with perfect efficacy, comfort, and stability.

Generally, OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) does not cover medical compression stockings or custom orthotics and braces. However, these specialized therapeutic items are typically covered extensively by your private health insurance benefits, workplace medical allowances, WSIB claims for injury, or the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).
